800+ Exhibitors Showcasing the Products and Services Driving Public Transit Innovation

Global Focus -- EXPO 2008 is an international forum for networking and innovations designated by the U.S. Department of Commerce and part of the International Buyer Program. Leaders from major national and international transit systems will attend EXPO.

Every three years more than 15,000 representatives from the transportation industry gather at APTA’s International Public Transportation Expo, where they see and demonstrate the latest transportation technologies, products and services.  This year, the show will take place 6-8 October in San Diego, California, USA.  In addition, APTA’s Annual Meeting will run concurrently with the EXPO from 5-8 October, offering the most comprehensive transit educational program in the world.

International delegations are welcome and encouraged, and APTA is committed to making this event as valuable as possible for those traveling from abroad.  For the 2008 event, APTA will be participating with the Department of Commerce’s International Buyer’s Program (IBP).  This program continues a long-standing tradition of collaboration with the Department in the area of US exports promotion and offers special services to international visitors.
